Photo of the day: Cookie shortage
Abdi Haji (12) buys one of the few cookies that are left from last year, Aug 18.
The school is no longer able to sell foods with little to no nutritional value, so as soon as the cookies are gone they are gone for good.
The cafeteria has already sold all the chocolate chip cookies, so all that remains is sugar cookies.
The resent change has caused many students to be outraged.
” I honestly don’t understand why we can no longer have cookies, I am technically an adult I should be able to choose and be responsible for what I eat” Haji said
