“The part of the competition I am most nervous for is walking out on stage with my mother because she is always one to dress to impress and I don’t want her to be dressed better than I am. My talent group, which is Jake Smith, Nick Weaver, Hunter Bard and I, have been doing extra practices outside of our scheduled ones. Usually our practices normally consist of doing the dance for about half an hour and then going out to get dinner, which works out pretty well.”
