Expectations
Communication
All staff members will join our Remind group.
Staff members will respond to all communications by adviser and editor in a timely manner, including texts, emails, facebook posts, etc. Timely may be within the hour for pressing matters or within 24 hours for not-so-pressing matters.
Productivity
Staff members will consistently use their class time to work toward a publishable product while contributing to the Hub as a whole. This class requires work outside of class like any other class. You should expect to put in an average of 30 minutes a day. Sometimes that work may come all at once while you cover a three-hour event, and sometimes you will transcribe interviews each night.
Openness
This is a collaborative environment that requires we are all open to each other and our ideas. As journalists striving to be accurate and ethical, each person on staff must have an open and expansive mind.
