“Music determined the course of my career. I started playing violin in fourth grade in a Rockwood classroom because my parents had one, never intending to do this. I went to college as a pre-med major, and after my first biology class, decided that’s really not what I wanted to do. And this is where I wound up, it’s taken me around the world, I’ve met a lot of great people, and I love getting to work with all these students.” – Mary White, Orchestra teacher
