When watching TikTok, you may notice a trend called “Ulta 10-year-old encounters”. This trend is implying the 10-year-olds that go to Ulta, looking for expensive makeup items such as Drunk Elephant, Rare Beauty, Elf, etc. But it’s not just makeup items.
It can be any items when it comes to the Ulta kids. Not only do they bombard the store with disruptions and disrespectful behavior, but they also disturb the workers. Mary Grace Hume (11) works at the Target in Ballwin. Hume describes the loud disturbances kids cause while working her shift.
“They throw balls at random signs and it breaks stuff. I would say they’re usually ages from ten to thirteen.” Hume says. She also implies that the kids tend to be without a parent, which causes disruptions.
“I think they’re all just kids getting dropped off by their parents, and they’re immature,” Hume says. With Target being an example of the rude and disrespectful behavior coming from the kids, makeup stores are where the main behaviors are.
Kids ages 8 to 12 wander all around makeup stores. Destroying products, being noisy, and worst of all, having no parents. Most teenagers nowadays get dropped off by their parents creates nothing but trouble for the workers, and customers and causes obvious disturbances. In the end, customers, workers, and parents hope to see a new trend come around the corner.
