Color guard leads marching band in the Eureka Days Parade as Alysha Leonard (11) waves her flag during on Main Street, Sept. 9. “It was my first fall guard and first parade, so I was nervous,” Leonard said. “A lot of my friends were in the crowd, so I got to wave to them while we were doing the routine. It helped me calm my nerves though knowing someone was supporting me.”
