Rockwood schools to remain closed for school year
Missouri Governor Mike Parson announced that Missouri schools will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year in an effort to combat COVID-19, April 9.
We are ordering all Missouri public and charter schools to remain closed through the remainder of the academic year with the exceptions of nutrition and child care services that are outlined in our recent health order. pic.twitter.com/umYYkszu7l

Although the physical buildings will be closed, Rockwood School District will continue with its Alternative Learning Plan through the intended last day of school, Thursday, May 21.
Families were notified by RSD Superintendent Dr. Mark Miles via email.
Miles also mentioned that RSD will continue to monitor end-of-the-year events such as proms and graduations with guidance from both local health and local government officials.
