The Eureka Theater Company (ETC) never fails to pour their hearts out on the stages of Eureka High School. On Nov. 14-16, they’ll be performing Anastasia, a show that dives into different themes following the Russian Revolution.
Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanov loses her memory and identity after being separated from her grandmother. Once everyone thinks the princess is missing, people begin the long search, including two con artists, Dmitri Sudayev and Vladimir Popov. Upon meeting Anastasia, Dimitri and Vlad end up realizing that she has a lot more information about the Romanov’s than most would.
“People should come and see the musical because it supports the arts and EHS as a whole,” Madden Parker, 11, said. “It’s also a lot of fun to see ETC productions because there is a lot of effort put into them by the cast, crew and production team.”
Not only will the acting of this production impress, but so will the tunes that come along with it.
“My favorite aspect of this musical is definitely the music,” Evan Ferguson, 12, said. “If you aren’t going to come for anything else, come for the music.”
Students won’t want to miss this thrilling experience.
“This really is a beautiful show with so many stunning aspects to it,” Amelia Thal, 11, “It’s great for all ages and truly is something people do not want to miss.”
