A girls varsity basketball loss, a wrestling win, and orchestra All-State auditions
Dec.1 to Dec.7
Up against a challenge, Annika Herbert, guard, attempts to keep the lead in the girls varsity basketball game against Webster Groves, Dec. 5. “I was born into basketball,” Herbert said. “My dad has always been a coach, and my brother played so just watching it and then playing is how I got into it. I have always loved it. It is fun to win, but practice can be hard work. The people on my team are fun, so it is not bad to work.” The Wildcats lost, 74-69.
