Opinions: Hindsight: Here we go again

Goodbye, summer. I’ll miss you.

I’m going to miss being able to enjoy this every day.

Back to school commercials, orientation, back to school shopping… Horray!!!

I am overjoyed to be going back to school. I can’t wait to be waking up at 7:00 a.m. instead of sleeping in until 1:00 p.m like I’ve been doing all summer. I’m ecstatic.

But, my friends, I have to get over it. Just like, I’m guessing, all of you do, too.

What’s the easiest way to get back in the school swing?

Prepare, people!

I’m going to set my alarm for 6:00 a.m, that way by the time I hit snooze 3 times, I’ll be waking up by 6:30.

I already have a folder and notebook for every subject whether I need it or not. (Better safe than sorry, right?)

Although most importantly, I’m forcing myself to have a good attitude.

Ending the summer is hard for all of us, it’s natural. It’s a sad, sad time, full of anxiety and stress. But we’ve gotta get back into the school swing.

In all honesty, I somewhat don’t mind going back to school. My brain will actually start turning it’s gears again because I get to learn and be busy (unlike I was all summer).

I miss always having something to do, so I guess sitting in a class and learning doesn’t sound too bad.

I do have to admit that I will miss sleeping the day away and just lounging.

Nevertheless, no matter how badly I don’t want summer to end, it’s happening anyways.

So now, I just gotta suck it up, and within a few weeks, months, a semester maybe… I’ll be back in the school swing.
