Natalie Hinds

Natalie Hinds, Opinions Writer

This is Natalie's third year on staff and her second year writing opinions. Natalie likes horseback riding, country music and hanging out with friends. Her dislikes include the Toyota car, Prius and people who don't know how to have fun and laugh. If Natalie were given a free shopping spree, she would purchase apple-bottom jeans and boots with the fur. That way, the whole club would be looking at her.

As the cars flew by, I waited and waited... and waited until finally I could cross this death trap of an intersection, Dec. 4. The lights were up and running today, but Tuesday was a whole different story.

So a quick background story for this conversation between my mother and I: she told me to take her old house blueprints and burn them in our bonfire. (Her house never got built.) I then texted her, and this was our convo. She definitely knows how to laugh at the funny things in life.

Officer Mike was nice enough to let us stage this photo using his cop car. I forgot to mention, not thinking before you do something might get you in trouble with the law. Take a moment and think people!

I have to say I love this picture so much. This is my brother and I when he was 8 years old and I was 9. Even though we fight sometimes, I wouldnt want anyone else to call my brother, and Im so thankful I have him. Hes pretty cool I guess.

This is my heater that sits on the floor in my room. My mother HATES when the right knob is on 2. She will come into my room to talk to me, and if she sees that the heat is set to 2, shell put it on 1. She yells at me about keeping the heater on 1 almost every other day (it seems).

This picture with my family Michael Hinds (9), me, and my cousin Rachel Carlino was taken on Black Friday, Nov. 29, a day where civility is thrown right out the window. Our Target experience that day included a mob plowing over each other to grab a deal on a TV and a mile-long line for milk and chocolate.
