Boys lacrosse pre-season just started with the new season right around the corner and for the senior boys this is their last time playing. With many memories made and new lessons learned the senior boys are here to say goodbye.
“My favorite memory was the out of town trips, specifically the Kansas City trip and the bus ride down” Ian Ritchie (12) said.
Besides out of town trips getting close to the team was a big deal.
“Im going to miss working as a team and winning games all as a group. I’m also going to miss hanging out with the team and having team bonding experiences” Issac Boedeker (12) said.
Lacrosse has also taught the team a lot about themselves and lessons that they will keep with them forever.
“Its taught me a lot about how you should grow up. The coaches are really big on time management, making sure you’re to places on time, making sure you’re doing what you’re supposed to do, and giving full effort” Ritchie said.
The coaches have had a big impact on the team and how they felt as players.
“He showed me great teamwork and leadership playing with him,” Boedeker said.
With the seniors leaving its time for them to pass on some advice for the younger lacrosse boys.
“Stick with it and don’t back out, go to everything you can and give your full effort and it will pay off in the long run” Ritchie said.
