Cooking cut vegatables for their chili, Spencer Zaun, Davin Chan (9) and Brendan Kloeppel (10) make sure they don’t overcook the vegetables, otherwise their whole chili could be in jeopardy in Ms. Angie Wilke’s third hour Food and Nutrition 1 class , Nov 27.
“We put random stuff in it,” Chan said. “It’s got that perfect amount of spice and flavor.”
The class is separated into groups or teams and each individual team created a unique chili for the cookoff. The winner will be determined after a taste test by their fellow students.
“We have first place in the bag,” Zaun said. “I just know it’s the best.”
