Spirit Week continued today with Disney Day, Sept. 30.

“I really like this spirit day. My favorite thing about it is actually seeing some of the guys in dresses. It’s really funny. And I have also seen some guys dressed in Winnie the Pooh outfits, and that’s pretty funny, too,” Mary Kate Chapman (10) said. “I have been sick all week, so coming back to Disney Day is pretty awesome for me. I have had this dance costume, and I’ve finally gotten to use it today. It’s been a good day back.”

The spirit standing is currently:

  1. Seniors: 90 points
  2. Juniors: 50 points
  3. Sophomores: 20 points
  4. Freshmen: 5 points

Today’s lunch-time activity required contestants to use chopsticks to hold a ping-pong ball and run to the other end of the Commons without dropping it. The sophomores took the win during all three lunch shifts.

The week’s themes:

  • Thursday: Pajamas Day: Jump into a onesie and some slippers.
  • Friday: Spirit-wear Day: Wear all purple and gold and show some school pride.
