Natalie Bishop (9) plays her violin in the orchestra room
“I’m really dedicated to orchestra.
I started playing the violin in third grade and have been playing it ever since.
I wanted to be in an orchestra and also play an instrument that was going to be heard a lot.
I chose the violin because as a third grader I thought it sounded really cool.
I wanted to be into something because everyone has something. People have art or music or photography, and I thought I needed something too, so I tried this out and I kept going with it.
At first I was really bad at it, but I chose to keep practicing and keep going, and I think that’s something everyone should do.”
