Rising flood waters, close the EHS and later the district, May 1. AP testing will resume, May 5, at the Annex regardless of the flooding at the high school.

This text is from an email sent by Austin Kirby, A+/testing coordinator, May 4.

Good afternoon AP German and US History Students,

In an effort to reschedule the numerous AP tests Eureka High School has missed this week due to flooding, the AP German and US History Exam will take place tomorrowMay 5, during its originally scheduled date and time (May 5, 8:00 a.m.) at the RSD Annex, located at 500 N. Central in Eureka.  The test will take place whether school is in session or not.

Please read the information below carefully so you know where to report for the exam.

  • Whether school is in session or not, you will report to the Rockwood Annex Room A 100 (behind Super Smokers BBQ) by 8:00 a.m.  Please park in the front.
  • Your testing materials will be at that location.  If you are unable to get to that location, please email me immediately.
  • If you are unable to take the test tomorrow, please email me immediately.
  • Bring your I.D. with you.
  • Bring writing utensils, and leave your cell phones in your car.

As previous communications have mentioned, thank you for your trust, patience, and understanding. We are working very hard to ensure you can test on the originally scheduled date so that future tests do not overwhelm you.

Bryan Clar, Social Studies, is holding a study session for AP U.S. History students at the Eureka Bread Company from 4-8 p.m., today, May 4.
