Ball making its way up the field, Hannah Daffron, midfield, pushes it towards the forward line at the varsity field hockey jamboree at St. Joe’s Academy, Aug. 19. “I scored a goal, which a lot of mid-field players don’t get the chance to do,” Daffron said. “I was so excited when I scored. Typically I just pass the ball, and someone else scores but this goal was mine. I was right there.”
