Jordan Bee, Stephanie Lubinski, and Elle Baker (12) hit a toe touch at Golden Line’s halftime performance at the varsity football game against Lindbergh, Nov. 3. “When the band walks off the field it’s kind of like our stage,” Lubinski said. “The lights make the crowd and all my surrounds blurry, and I can feel the energy off of my teammates. The anticipation before the music starts builds up, surrounding us. When we start dancing, I can feel our energy off of everyone. I enjoy the feeling of dancing as large and strong as I can. When I do a kick or a trick and the crowd cheers, it pushes me to stretch my legs farther, hit my moves stronger and smile bigger. Overall, I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment after I dance because of how hard my teammates and I worked to construct an intricate dance.”
