Girls varsity soccer advanced to the Class 4 state quarterfinals, May 22
St. Joe took the early lead, 1-0, but Sam Courtois, midfielder, tied the game up.
The Wildcats stayed tied, forcing double overtime, but they eventually won 5-1 in penalty kicks.
Megan Moll, goalie, had three saves, keeping EHS on top.
Eureka has gone 18-5-1 throughout the 2018 season.
EHS will host quarterfinals against Lindbergh High School, Saturday, May 26 at 12 p.m.
