Instagram update
Instagram received an update that added a major new feature, Aug. 2.
The update added Instagram Stories, which allows users to add photos and videos to a slideshow to share with followers.
With Instagram Stories, users are able to choose who is able to view slideshows and add text and drawings. After 24 hours, the slideshow disappears.
After this update rolled out, users may notice the Instagram Stories feature is similar to Snapchat Stories.
