Opinions: The last word: Straight answers

When did honesty and trust become a game?

I can never get a definitive answer from guys.

If you like me than you like me. It’s that simple. Right?

I guess not because seriously in this day and age how am I supposed to know when a guy is being real with me or not?

From the minute I entered middle school I was taught that “guys only want one thing.”

Okay, great, like I didn’t trust other people, especially guys, enough.

Granted, I understand that most of the time guys only do think about one thing. It’s natural. It’s just the way they are, and most of the time I bet they can’t even help it.

I don’t blame them for that. I always give people the benefit of the doubt.

But, what I don’t understand is why lie to get a little action?

Why tell me you like me, leading me on, when in reality you just want to get in my pants?

There in lies my problem.

Girls are vulnerable, emotional and at most times psychotic. I would know from experience. On a day-to-day basis I can be quite the roller coaster.

Most guys take advantage of that. They say that they will never understand girls or what they want, but it’s actually simple, girls just want to be wanted.

Guys will pretend they like me, keeping up the charade, all the while I’m falling deeper and deeper into their trap.

When the moment comes and they strike, girls will either succumb to the pressure from the guy or deny him and end with heartbreak.

Either way the girl loses.

Because the moment the guy gets what he wants he walks away, or when he doesn’t get what he wanted he still walks away.

Not only that, lets say a girls does give in, then her reputation is on the line all for being guilty of believing the lies that were fed to her. Or she doesn’t give in and the guy makes up some lie anyway, also ruining her reputation.

In both situations she ends up alone, sad and piling in Cookies’ n Cream ice cream like it’s nobody’s business while crying along to some sappy romance movie, like “The Notebook.”

I don’t deserve to be treated that way. No one deserves to be treated that way.

If you like me, be real with me. Honestly, it’s that simple…
