Young-Seo Youn, Eurekana yearbook staff

This is Young-Seo’s third semester on Yearbook Production staff. Her hobbies include reading and painting in her free time.

She is a cheerleader on the varsity cheer squad. Young-Seo is involved in StuCO and NHS. A fun fact about Young-Seo is that she can sing “happy birthday” in five languages.

A question she wants to ask the world is “How can we strive for acceptance and love rather than mere toleration for differences?” Her dream job involves traveling while doing business.

Feeling under-the-weather the morning of the meet, Susan Haake (11) pushes through and soars over the pole during the districts meet at Parkway South, May 12. “My friends Jessica Stalter (11), Chloe Tomschin (11), and I used to look at the pole vaulters and be like, ‘I want to do that,’ so we all joined track,” Haake said. “I like going up in the air and feeling free.”

In their grand finale, Jerod Turner (11) and Angela Busby (12) finish their dance to “Proud Mary” by Creedence Clearwater Revival during the Onstage spring show, April 8. “We work so hard during the week to where when you’re performing you’re not thinking about how it’s the last one so it sets in afterwards. How I feel about it now is that it was my favorite part of high school for sure,” Busby said. “I loved performing. I’m going to miss it a lot but I put everything I could into it so that I could walk away with no regrets.”
