Representing France at a Model UN meeting, Jordan Pittman (10) discussed resolution propostion to help solve world problems by creating a UN military to help prevent wars between countries with two other girls there who were representing Mongolia, Nov 17. “For this particular Model UN meeting you were supposed to create a resolution and have it get passed in order to discuss it,” Pittman said.
Monika Nayak (11) was also in attendance at this particular Model UN meeting at the Civitas Headquarters here in St. Louis.
“For Model UN you think about all the issues around the world and write a resolution for these issues,” Nayak said. “His resolution was discussed with the whole group. I was also a part of France, and a lot of people came up to our table and discussed their problems with the resolution or what they liked about it.”
