Talking amongst each other in Ms. Susie Allmendinger’s third hour AP Literature class Pamela Hafner, Emily Gaillard, Andrea Baumgartner and Abby Biggs (12) work to analyze “The Dover Bitch” by Anthony Hecht, Nov. 26.

“It’s very critical of humans and their faults,” Gaillard said. “It’s a parody of ‘The Dover Beach’ that we were discussing earlier.”

“The Dover Beach” by Matthew Arnold, talks about a beach and describes the scenery and surrounding of the beach but has a deeper underlying meaning about human nature.
