Painting the glaze and color onto her work of art, Genevieve Atkins (12) makes sure she doesn’t miss a detail in Ms. Julie Fribris’s fourth hour Ceramics 1 class, Nov. 28. “I’m working on a ceramic owl sitting on a log,” Atkins said. “I think it will be in the art show because [Ms. Fribris] asked me to put it in. I like art class a lot. You get to interact with clay,” Atkins said. “You’re very individual and independent in that class.”
