Spirit Week recap: Tourist/Tutu Day
Spirit Week continued today with Tourist/Tutu Day, Sept. 29.
“I really thought it was a lot of fun. I loved seeing everyone’s fanny packs and hats,” Natalie Merline (12) said. “It was something unique since most of the time our spirit days repeat, but this is something new.”
The spirit standing is currently:
- Seniors: 65 points
- Juniors: 35 points
- Sophomores: 5 points AND Freshmen: 5 points
Today’s lunch-time activity required contestants to use a fan to guide a ball to the other end of the Commons. The freshmen won 1st lunch, the juniors took the win during 2nd and the seniors wrapped up the day with a win during 3rd lunch.
The week’s themes:
- Wednesday: Disney Day: Superheros, princess, and monsters. Oh my!
- Thursday: Pajamas Day: Jump into a onesie and some slippers.
- Friday: Spirit-wear Day: Wear all purple and gold and show some school pride.
