This is Jones’ first year on the Eurekana staff where she serves as a staff member. Word to describe her: artistic. Conversation she wants to have with the world: “Stop being so stupid.” Jones’ plays bass, is in symphonic orchestra, and plays in the pit for musicals. Dream job: “My dream job is to play in pit orchestras for a living. Maybe even some symphonies.”

![Second time auditioning, Paige Hollinsworth, cello, plays A major scale, a C minor scale, 3 excerpts from Beethoven’s 5th symphony, and Brahms excerpt for the orchestra All-State audition at Mizzou, Dec. 2. “I was nervous going into it, but I knew that I had put in a lot of practice time beforehand, so I felt ready. Once I got there, the nerves mostly went away, and I ended up playing my best, which is all I could have hoped for,” Hollinsworth said. “Part of getting over the nerves was just telling myself that I would do great as long as I remembered what I practiced. Most of it though was having my parents, my friends, and Mrs. [Mary]White supporting me.
