Top five things to know for the week of 1/28/13

1. Mr. EHS: The show starts at 7 p.m., Jan. 31, but students must arrive at school that morning to receive a line placeholder. The box office will open at 7:30 a.m., Jan. 31, for students to pick up a placeholder. After school all students must leave campus and not return until 6:15 or 6:30 p.m. Students must have both their line placeholder and their Mr. EHS ticket to receive admittance to the show.

2. Campus Portal closes: All underclassmen need to register for their 2013-2014 school year classes by 4 p.m., Jan. 28. After picking classes online, students need to print off a copy of their schedule and have their parent or guardian sign it. Lastly, students turn the signed schedule into their math teacher or to the guidance office.

3. Late Start, Feb. 4: There is another Late Start Day next Monday, Feb. 4. Remember the warning bell rings at 8:34 and the first hour begins at 8:40. Don’t be late!

4. Girls Basketball Senior Night: Come out and support the girls varsity basketball team as they take on Hazelwood West at 7 p.m, Jan. 30. The team will celebrate their five seniors at this game, their final home game of the season.

5. Tailgate before the boys varsity basketball game: Take part in the excitement before the boys varsity basketball game, Feb. 1. Tailgate from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Tailgating is free and to stay for the game there is just a $5 admission fee to cheer on the boys. Remember, no open flame on campus.
