Addy Hays, a Junior midfielder was presented with the “GOAT” of the game award scoring three goals while also reaching her 100th career draw controls award.

“I feel as if my awards are very well deserved, especially since I just came back from an ACL tear which was extremely hard for me to deal with,” Hays said.
Team captain Morgan Bilby is extremely proud of her team and how far they have come. Their team work and perseverance shines on the field making the team not just fun to watch but also making their team come out on top.
“One of our keys to success on our team is we have a lot of communication and our team is really close overall like a family. We pride ourselves on treating everyone with respect. And of course we have team captains but we don’t let it define us. Honestly everyone on the team is a captain and has earned their spot on the team.” Bilby said.
Although the team is successful due to their strong connection they also have a strong amount of talent on the field.
“Our defense is really good and we have so much returning talent. We are working together really well and taking corrections from our coach” Hays said.
Going into the seniors final year of playing Eureka lacrosse they only hope for more wins and to stay undefeated. Being a part of this team has been everything to these girls and saying goodbye will be extremely difficult.

“These girls and this team mean so much to me and it’s going to be hard to say goodbye to my days of Eureka lacrosse. I’m very grateful for having the opportunity to be a captain this year and help lead my team to victory” Bilby said.
