This is Peter's first semester on staff where he serves as a staff member on the Eurekana Yearbook. Peters enjoys recreational shooting, playing video games, hockey, and hanging out with friends and family. He is involved in rugby at Eureka. One word to describe him; loud. A conversation he wants to have with the world, "How long do you have to live and what can we do to extend that?" Peter's dream job is to be a K9 or SWAT officer for the St. Louis County Police. After school tutoring, Noelle Derennaux (11) practices with band for solo and ensemble after school, Feb. 27. “I am nervous for solo and ensemble,” Derennaux said. “We have to practice really hard so we can make it to state. In state, you are up against so many people. It is challenging. I play the trumpet. I like the sound and how close the trumpet players are.”

Taking notes on steering, Allison Milligan (10) reviews her driving pointers in Trevor Grimshaw’s sixth hour Drivers Ed class, Jan. 16. “My parents wanted me to take it,” Milligan said. “I wanted to learn about how to be a safer driver. I am getting my license in June. It is helping me because it is teaching me with activities instead of just reading books. I didn’t get a lot out of just reading a book. It helps me make educated decisions about my driving.”

Grinder in hand, Bryan Christensen (9) smoothes out his weathervane during during David Luecke’s first hour Metals 1 class, Oct. 11. “I like Metals because it is hands on,” Christensen said. “There is no busy work and you are always working on something you can see. It is creative. You can use tools you are not used to. It is an outlet because you aren’t just sitting down and working on a worksheet or taking notes. You move everyday.”
