Words on her hand, Kayla Hill (10) models for a photography class, March 6. “I’m usually a model. A lot of times, they’re really interesting ideas people come up with. They’re really powerful. I really enjoy being able to work with the people who are taking the photos and get them what they want,” Hill said. “My best friend is in Photo 2 and she wanted me to be a model for an abuse photo. She’s used me ever since then. It sends out a message, but it scares a lot of people. People know exactly what they want me to do, so they have me move in a specific way and do exactly what they want and it turns out exactly how they think it will.”

Founders cup won, Patrick Markovitz, forward, celebrates with the varsity hockey team after the game against Fort Zumwalt West at Queeny Park, Feb. 22. This is the first time Eureka hockey has ever won any championship. “It was magical to win,” Markovitz said. “We have been to many competitions, but we typically lose because those are difficult. We knew we could win and then we just ran with that. Our season wasn’t great. We eventually just lost all our shame and threw everything into winning.” The Wildcats won, 6 to 1.
