5 things to know for the week of 12/10- 12/14

1. Honor cord applications due Thursday, April 25. Seniors- honor cords applications are due to the Junior/Senior office on Thursday, April 25. Follow this link for the honor cord application form and honor cord requirements.

2. Second semester schedule change requests end Monday, Dec. 17. To view your second semester schedule check Infinite Campus Portal. If you have any requests for a schedule change make sure you visit or contact the counselors office before Monday, Dec. 17 at 3:00 p.m. For more information on schedule changes check the school’s website.

3. PSAT/NMSQT scores will be available Wednesday, Dec. 12. To receive your PSAT/NMSQT scores visit Mrs. Kennedy and Mrs. Varner in the Commons during all three lunch shifts, Dec. 12.

4. Job rates have fallen to 7.7 percent.  The unemployment rate, released, Dec. 7,  has fallen from October’s 7.9 percent rate to 7.7 percent. In November the government added 146,000 jobs and the job rate as fallen to 7.7 percent, the lowest rate since December 2008. Even though it has fallen this number is what the economists projected.

5. The print version of the Bugle will be distributed Friday, Dec. 14. Make sure to pick up a copy of the Bugle during all three lunch shifts Friday. Catch stories on Picture Rockwood, the holidays and a feature on Jonathon Schilling.
