Snow interrupts normal class schedule

Schools in Rockwood  will be closing early due to snow conditions, Feb. 13.

Light snow has been falling in St. Louis county since 3 a.m., according to weather.com.

The decision to dismiss school early was made after the full first and second hour classes. To adjust to time, third, fifth, sixth and seventh hours were only seven minutes long.

School will be dismissed after lunch at 12:20. All after school activities have also been canceled.

Snow is expected to continue through 5 p.m., accumulating to 3-5 inches by midnight, according to kmov.com
