4 Things to know for the week of 2/18
1. Parent Teacher Conferences: Third Quarter Conferences will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19.
2. NightGlow: The second annual Student DJ’ed NightGlow Dance will be Friday, Feb. 21. The dance will follow the varsity girls and boys basketball games against Northwest High School beginning at 5:30 and 7:00 p.m., respectively. Tickets are on sale at lunch all week for $5 and at the door for $7.
3. Black History Month: The EHS Equity Team is sponsoring a Black History Month Essay Contest. The contest ends Friday, Feb. 21. There are two $250 prizes available, one for VICC students and one for non-VICC students.
4. Wrestling State: After performing well at Districts this past weekend the Wrestling Team will send six wrestlers to State. Ben Schroeder, Brendan Krask (12), Clayton Wegener, Zach Seiler (11), Alec Hagan and Kyran Hagan (9) will travel to University of Missouri-Columbia to compete Friday, Feb. 21 and Saturday, Feb. 22.
