Top five things to know for the week of 1/7/13

1. The Blues are back: The NHL lockout is officially over as of Sunday, Jan. 6. Even though over half of the 2012-2013 season was sacrificed during the lockout, it’s now game time.

2. Scheduling window is approaching: Grade levels will meet in the New Theater next week during fifth hour to discuss schedules: Jan. 15- 9th grade; Jan. 16-10th grade and Jan.17-11th grade. The Infinite Campus scheduling portal opens for 2013-2014 registratinon, Jan. 18, and closes Jan.28 at 4 p.m.

3. EHS Variety Show, Jan. 16 and  17: If you want to check out the talented kids of EHS then look forward to attending the variety show, Jan. 16-17, at 7:00-9:30 p.m. in the new theater.

4. A break to look forward to Jan. 18 and Jan. 21: There is an early dismissal day Jan. 18 and no school Jan. 21 due to Martin Luther King Day. Look forward to a three and a half day weekend.
